Fender Bender (2016)

A 17 year old girl named Hilary is having a really bad day: First, she discovers that her boyfriend, Andy, is cheating on her. Then she gets into her first fender bender (with her mom’s new car) and to top it all off – she exchange her personal information with a serial killer. What a day!

Later that night, she is joined in her home by two of her school friends, Rachel and Erik, who try their best to cheer her up. Too bad the party is about to be ruined, by the same stranger who hit her mom’s car!

Soon enough, Hilary and her friends are in a fight for their lives.

While the beginning of the movie looked promising, as time went by I felt the movie was moving too slowly.
The characters are making lots of stupid decisions, the script has several plot holes in it and I don’t like the impossible-to-kill enemy concept.
Nonetheless, the movie has some genuine scares in it and it does create suspense.

The Bottom Line

It’s far from being a masterpiece, but give it a try, you might like it.
