The Twilight Zone Comic Book

The Twilight Zone is a classic sci-fi television series which has lots of fans all over the world, and I’m one of them.
That’s why I was very excited upon learning about this series of graphic novels depicting selected episodes from the show.
I’ve bought 3 random books of the 7 books available, to see if these classic episodes translate well to a graphic novel.
The answer is YES. The adaptations stay very close to the script, mixing suspense and horror while keeping you glued to the edge of your seat.

I did enjoy reading ‘Walking Distance’ and ‘The After Hours’, but ‘Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up’ is by far the best one I’ve read.
The story takes place on a cold snowy night. State troopers track footprints from a mysterious crash site next to a nearby diner, where a group of bus passengers is waiting out the storm. There were 6 people on that bus, but now, inside the diner, there are 7.
Who is the extra person?

This specific book captures the mood and atmosphere of the tale, butq the twist in the end is the icing on the cake.
If you’re a fan of The Twilight Zone you should definitely read them all. If you are not familiar with The Twilight Zone tv series but still love graphic novels, you should give ‘Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up’ a chance, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
